On the library's main menu, located on our home page, click Resources, then E-Journals, and search for the journal name in quotation marks. (Alternatively, click Advanced Search just above the search box on the home page, then on E-Journals in the black toolbar at the top of the page.) If the journal you searched for, such as Journal of Counseling Psychology, is available, an entry will come up in the online catalog. Click on the words "Online Access" to see which database(s) contain that journal. Click on the database title to search within the journal.
You can also search for E-Journals by keyword. For example, searching for psychology will bring up all the e-journals we have that contain the word psychology in their titles.
If we do not have access to the journal you're looking for, try searching online for the title. You can often browse article citations and abstracts to identify a useful article, which you can then request via Interlibrary Loan (ILL). If this is your first time using ILL, you'll need to create an account. Then you can log in and complete an online request form for the article. You will be emailed when the article has been posted to your ILL account.
