Many databases relevant to these topics include the option to limit your keyword search results to case studies:

In the CINAHL nursing database, scroll down and select Case Study in the Publication Type menu, plus any other relevant limits such as full-text or peer-reviewed. In the Nursing & Allied Health (ProQuest) database, click Advanced Search and select Case Study in the Document Type box.

In the psychology databases PsycArticles and PsycINFO, scroll down near the bottom of the search page and select Clinical Case Study in the Methodology box.

Academic Search Premier and Education Source databases, in addition to the psychology databases mentioned above, are good for social work topics. In both, select Case Study in the Document Type box in the lower part of the search page.

In Criminal Justice Abstracts with Full-Text and Criminal Justice Collection databases, select Case Study in the document type box.
