Books are currently in closed stacks accessible only to library staff, after hours. You can arrange for the items you want to be held for pickup at the library's Welcome Desk by placing a hold through the online catalog. View our brief tutorial: How to Request Items for Pickup

FHSU Online students can also use ILL to request physical items (from Forsyth Library or ILL lending libraries) to be mailed. The address you use to create your ILLiad account will be the mailing address used to deliver any physical materials. Physical items will be mailed to your personal address at no cost, but you are responsible for paying return shipping back to Forsyth Library (copies of articles are yours to keep). Each item you receive will come with a return label as well as a letter explaining the return process. You can return items one at a time or return multiple items in one box, as long as all items are back by the due date. Returns can be mailed via UPS, USPS or FedEx. Questions? Contact the Interlibrary Loan department at iloan@fhsu.edu or 785-628-4351. The department is open Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
