On the library web page (http://www.fhsu.edu/library) enter your topic into the search box.  For best results, just put in the most important words, rather than a sentence.  For example, rather than searching "How can children be motivated to read more?", just type in reading motivation children.

To limit your results to scholarly, peer-reviewed articles, click "peer-reviewed journals" on the right side of the results page. (If you are using a mobile device, click the funnel icon at the top of the results to see these options). This will decrease the number of results, but they will all be scholarly articles with a link to the complete article.  Click Full-Text Available to see the links to the article, or click the article title to find more information, such as a summary.
