I have several suggestions for simple video editing platforms. I will list them in order of easiest to learn to hardest to learn, but the easier ones are usually less flexible and robust. All of these platforms are free to a certain point. Some advanced tools, templates, images, and sounds are only available with the premium packages. If you need supplemental materials like music, graphics, and images, check out this LibGuide - https://fhsuguides.fhsu.edu/media/images

You can find Adobe Express at express.adobe.com. Choose “Continue with Google” to sign in with your FHSU Google account. It’s simple interface is easy to understand, but limits the number of tracks you can use for layer audio and video. Tutorial -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3kelp4rQR8

Access Clipchamp at https://clipchamp.com/en/ . You can login with Google here too. The layering is better but there are fewer choices from their content library, and it’s less intuitive. - Tutorial - https://youtu.be/mIMeB8xZt2o?si=DfSzM0x29SJA0keu

Capcut ( capcut.com )  is one of the most popular editors around. It’s the primary editor for TikTok content creation, but it works great for any other type of video as well. Again, you can use your FHSU Google account to login and either use the online version or download version. The number of tools can be overwhelming at first, but once you understand the workflow, it’s very simple and flexible. Tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHMoPh6mzm4
