Due to construction, the library building is closed. Staff and services have moved to Custer Hall. See today's Custer Hall and online Research Help hours: https://libcal.fhsu.edu/.

  • Check out technology and pick up books on hold or requested through Interlibrary Loan at the Welcome Desk in Custer 304. How to request a book for pickup
  • Electronic resources, including the catalogdatabases, the Scholars Repository, and the Ask a Librarian research help service, remain accessible.
  • Special Collections, which includes the University Archives, is now housed on the library's upper floor. During renovation, same-day access to physical materials is typically unavailable.  However, researchers wishing to engage with Special Collections' materials are encouraged to first contact Brian Gribben, Coordinator of Government Documents & Special Collections at b_gribben@fhsu.edu or call 785-628-5511 to schedule a research consultation.  During the consultation, the coordinator and researcher will identify materials germane to the latter's needs and schedule a follow-up appointment so that the desired materials can be pulled and brought to Custer Hall 108.
