You can also search in individual online databases. I would suggest going to the online research guide by subject for Communication Studies, then either Communication Studies or Organizational Communication. Choose the tab for finding articles and databases. There will be a box for the databases to use for Communication Studies or Organizational Communication (depending on which guide you choose.
Go to the library's online catalog, change the drop down box from "library catalog" to "article databases". Type in your search term: organizational communication. Within your results, you can limit to "available in library" or "peer-reviewed" articles. If it notes "view it" it will list the online databases that have that journal title and the holding years. The "details tab will give you information regarading the article. If there is no full text, then you may have to order the article via Interlibrary Loan.
You can click on the Interlibrary Loan tab on the Library’s main web page. From there if you have not already created an account on ILLiad, then click on First time user create an account. Read the information, click on First time users... Register, create username and password, & submit. Registration will be processed. Next, create a request (article/book, etc.) Request will be processed the information and will be sent to you once received. Later on when you need to order something else, you will log into ILLiad. If it is a book request, Interlibrary Loan will package it and send it to you. You only have to pay for postage to return the books to us.
