Start with Criminal Justice Abstracts, and for more results, click "Choose Databases" and add Social Sciences Full-Text, and Psychology & Behavioral Research Collection. Try searching for something like college or university or campus AND crime or violence.
Note the subject headings that come up for relevant articles, such as "campus violence" , "rape--universities and colleges", etc and search for these if relevant. Limit your search to Full-Text so all your results will have a link to the complete article (remove this if you do not find enough results, because we may have the article in other databases, in print, or we can get it for you from another library via Interlibrary Loan.)
Another source is CQ Researcher database, which contains in-depth investigative reports on current issues. Here is their recent report on this topic:
Mantel, B. (2014, October 31). Campus sexual assault. CQ Researcher, 24, 913-936. Check the Bibliography and The Next Step sections (linked on the left side of the report) for additional articles and information sources.
If you are interested mainly in our campus, the FHSU campus police maintain a print crime log that can be viewed in their offices, and also have links on their website to additional information. Also, the Annual Security Report for campus is available online.
