On the library web page (http://www.fhsu.edu/library) enter your topic into the search box. For best results, just put in the most important words, rather than a sentence. For example, rather than searching "How can children be motivated to read more?", just type in reading motivation children.
To limit your results to scholarly, peer-reviewed articles, click "peer-reviewed journals" on the right side of the results page. (If you are using a mobile device, click the funnel icon at the top of the results to see these options). This will decrease the number of results, but they will all be scholarly, peer-reviewed articles. Click Full-Text Available to see the links to the article, or click the article title to find more information, such as a summary.
