I tried File>Open Recent>View Unsaved Files and nothing was there. I went into File>Options>Save and copied the path to the recovery files and found a .tmp file that wouldn't open without closing the PowerPoint window. I closed it and it asked me if I wanted to save it. I did a Save As and gave it a new, but similar, name and saved it to a thumb drive. I opened it and it was what she was hoping for. I copied the file to the W drive and warned her to save early, save often.
